Sign in on Xbox not being available

Whenever I try to Sign in within the Xbox PC App, it flashes the empty gray (what I assume is the sign in) box, but then it just disappears and leaves me not signed in. This has been happening for a while.

I've tried repairing and resetting the app, but this does not work.

Hello Ashton, try to do so, go in the search magnifying glass, type CMD and run as administrator.

Then in the command panel type the command: SFC /scannow

And let him do the process until it's finished, and then restart Windows.

After that, check you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11?

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

I don't have any insight into Xbox Video apps being made available for iOS or Android devices.

Is this something that is affecting all virgin customers as i can sign in but xbl content is not available n when i go to dl an update for a game it wont go regardless of what i try... is this still a virgin issue or is it now an xbox issue with the market
place stuff not being available??

As of 2016 if a gamertag does not sign in for 5 years it is then made available so the earliest any gamertags will become available is 2021.

Another thing to remember is that gamertags are used on other services,not just xbox live,so just because a gamertag looks like it isn't being used it actually may be

Nothing to fix.

If it says a gamertag is not available then it's not available.

Gamertags are used on other services,not just xbox live,so you have no way of knowing whether a gamertag is being used or not.

If a gamertag does not sign in for 5 years it is then freed up & made available so if there is a specific tag you want you will just have to keep checking to see if it is ever freed up.
