Sign in loop in Microsoft Store and Xbox GamePass app

Hello RataomBalls, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update and then make all subsequent security updates.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, also make sure you have the Xbox App companion installed on your computer, it works in conjunction with the Xbox App.

Hello! Thank you for the answer, but I still have the same problem. I downloaded the latest version of Windows but nothing changed.

If this is on the Windows 10 Gamepass, make sure you are using the same account with the Ultimate subscription on the Microsoft store and the Xbox (beta) app.

If that don't work try signing out and back in

I am able to sign in to Windows with MSA2 and then sign in to the store, Xbox app and www.xbox.com with MSA1. No sign in loops in that situation at all.

Starting the Xbox app and attempting to run the games from there results in the same loop sign in loop.

In a strange turn of events I signed in to my PC with MSA1 this morning and the store detected I had ReCore installed and I could play the game. Forza still wanted a re-download and would not detect the files already downloaded whilst logged in to Windows
with MSA2 and Store with MSA1. I do not want to have to manage multiple Windows profiles across multiple devices just to access these two applications, so this issue is still far from resolved.

Nothing has changed from my end (I have been troubleshooting Windows devices as an infrastructure engineer for 18 years). It seems to me that Microsoft are altering infrastructure in the back-end to remedy these problems.

Hello this has been happening to me for a while now I couldn't click the game tiles or anything for that matter on gamepass for pc, clicking wouldn't do anything. I wondered if it was something to do with my microsoft account as my profile photo was not showing for gamepass even though I was signed in and I also changed my password which may have caused a problem. So I have just fixed it on my pc so I hope this can help someone. This is what I did. I couldn't click anything in the gamepass pc app but I wanted to sign out to try to clear error, so I signed out of my account at the top right of the microsoft store app, then I clicked the windows start button and signed out of windows. Signed back into windows, went to windows settings, accounts, manage my microsoft account, signed out of my microsoft account at the top right, then signed out of windows again. Signed back into windows, then I think gamepass had message that I was not signed onto ms store. so clicked that and signed back into ms store and ms account and gamepass pc is working now.
