"Show less like this" is not working

I'd prefer not to get too political with this, but I do not want my family exposed to segregation, sexuality, or forced cultural appropriation. Every time I see an ad including things like this, I immediately open up the options and click "show less like this". After I refresh the home page, it goes away, but only for that instance. When I open the dashboard again, the inappropriate ads return.

What is wrong? How do I fix this issue?

Yes my wire less controller works and it shows in the Accessories and no static noise

Alright thanks. As for the home I cant get rid of community or other tabs it says show less like it then shows me something else :/
