    Xbox One Wireless Controller Batterystatus

Well, the Xbox 360 use to show battery status when you pressed the guide button, so the most logical place to implement it, would be within the Game Bar, that's used now when you press the Guide button on the XBox One Controller.

Any indicator would at least warn you, currently if your battery is low the controller just Shuts off, no warning.

It blows my mind that wireless controller for windows is such an after thought, they would overlook something like Battery Status.

    Low battery warning in Windows

    Salutations,

I use the wireless Xbox One controller with the USB dongle

(which btw is extremely oversized compared to the Steam dongle, not to mention the Logitech ones).

Using the Windows 10 app Xbox Accessories I can check the battery level to a certain extent

(it shows a battery bar and a vague description, no percentages).

However, there is absolutely no low battery level warning!

On the Steam controller the button with the logo on it would flash
if it was near death but the only way the Xbox controller tells you is by
    instantly turning off
. Something that is highly frustrating when playing a ranked multiplayer game.

Is there any way to get a similar warning as the Steam controller for low battery level, or at least some sort of software popup?

    Cheers.

show battery level of wireless xbox one controller on game bar overlay

    Hi DJLRADEON,

Thank you for bringing this up. Normally, you can check the battery level of your Xbox One controller by going to the Device Info section in the Xbox Accessories app. However, showing the battery level in the Gamebar overlay during gameplay is currently
not available on Windows 10. We understand that this is very important for players who use Xbox One controller through a wireless connection. Our team is doing their best to make this available soon on Windows 10. You can also share this idea with our Windows
    team by using the
    Feedback Hub on Windows 10
. The Feedback Hub app lets you tell Microsoft about any problems you run into while using Windows 10 and send suggestions to help us improve your Windows experience. Sending

How much power supply does Xbox series s need?

It's the battery level for an Xbox Wireless the controller. The controllers can also be used via a USB cable also. When controller is wireless, the battery level for the controller will appear on the dashboard.

No Wireless-Support on Windows 11 for Xbox Series X Controller (with Share-Button)

    Hello,

    Same problem here...

Xbox x series controller with xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 version 2.

Device manager shows xinput compatible device and also at bluetooth and other devices.

There is no battery indicator shows, only at the game bar.

The game bar unfortunately only shows the words: low - medium and full and no percentage.

    It's really ****.
