You only need to compare the amount of studios Sony own to what Microsoft own to see that Xbox has no chance of competing with PlayStation where 1st party games are concerned.

They should be opening more studios not closing them.

It is a hard question. Each studio has it's own vision. I will leave every game to the studio that created it. For better or worse.

Any game that's exclusive on console to PC or owned by Xbox Game Studios will remain on the console. Every month a few games are dropped but there is usually a 2 week notice of this so you should be able to keep up to date on the Xbox Game Pass App on
games being removed soon.
