    Should Xbox discontinue Xbox live gold subscriptions ?


    I think that Xbox should stop gold subscriptions and make so that you can play Xbox forever with no worry about your END date of your gaming. I know Xbox use gold subscriptions to generate profit but they should make a silver membership where you can play
    but you can't download or buy anything.

    I see where you're getting at buy even Silver members would be using a service that requires updates and resources. It's the price we pay to access the Live service and although it has its issues from time to time I would still say the Xbox servers are
    stronger then the PS Network.

    Honestly I don't mind Xbox Live Gold because Microsoft is doing their upmost to make it worth our money (Game Pass Ultimate) I think it's fine as it is, I fully understand what you're getting at but as long as the service is worth what we pay for is it really

    As much as I would love free Xbox forever, I do not think that Xbox should discontinue Xbox live.

    I think if they are providing us with a service then we, the consumer, should have to pay for it.

    Although if they provided free online it would encourage a lot of PS players onto Xbox.

    I think that gold is necessary. I remember when it was free to play playstation games online. The servers were a mess and the infrastructure was shoddy at best. I would hate for microsoft to switch to a free method and not maintain their servers or
    upgrade them.
