Should I leave my Series S unplugged for a long time?

I’m gonna be away from home for a few days and just to be safe I unplugged my Xbox before leaving. So I was wondering if this is safe or can it affect my Xbox or it’s performance.

(I used the fully shut down option in the settings before unplugging it)

If you are going to be away for a period, then you should always unplug all electronics or turn sockets off at the switch (or flick the main breakers off) anyway. Unplugging your console will make no difference to it

Ok so if my tv is a 2.0 120hz tv should I set the series s to 4k @ 60 or either 1080/1440 @ 120? If the latter should I leave the box checked that says “allow 4K”?

That's what I am done,put my series s on energy saving and then select full shutdown after that I hear noises on the left side of series s and it won't stop noising unless I unplug it

I did unplug it and plug it back in but it didn't seem to do anything. Should I leave it unplugged for a certain amount of time or something so the controller can like restart itself or something?

How long did you leave it unplugged? If just for a few seconds try leaving it unplugged for 3 to 4 minutes. Also, try a different wall outlet.
