Should I get this if I've never played Dragon Age before?

I hadn't played the previous games, and I was a bit apprehensive getting this one in case I couldn't follow the story or references from previous games.

However, my advice is to not delay and buy it. This is without doubt one of the best games I have played in ages and probably one of the few games that has consumed so much of my time.

It's so good in fact that I've started a second play through with a new character.

I have never played a Dragon Age game before Inquisition either. Thoroughly enjoying it so far!

I'm about 140 hrs into it and just ready to do "What Pride Had Wrought". I'm taking my time and doing lots of side quests ( I know some will be unavailable after defeating the final boss) on my first play through, wanting my level as high as possible for
the final battle.

I will definitely do a second play through after fiddling with world state a little on the Keep site.

Two questions I have for more seasoned DA players;

What is the game like after finishing off the final boss?

&

What are the chances for DLC with D.A. titles?

Loving this game!

140 hours wow! I traded mine in now on the X1 as I did the full achievement list, but have started again on the 360.

I only finished off the last few achievements after finishing the boss but the game world seemed pretty much the same as far as I was aware,

There is an online Dragon Age Keep to automatically choose your story from the previous games, it probably won't make much sense. But you can choose what happened previously then load it into the game. If you google Kotaku Dargon Age Inquisition Tips it
has a good explanation of the general lore and such. It is a good idea to go through this before playing imo if you haven't played the previous ones.
