Because I owned it on the 360. Since I have achievements in that pack on the 360. And can play full game on the table on the 360.

Great news for Pinball Arcade fans

Pinball FX2 will be on Xbox One this month

    majornelson.com/.../pinball-fx2-coming-xbox-one

Great news but unfortunately there is no discount for tables purchased on the 360. This is disappointing, I bought a load of tables on the 360 version! Might just wait for Pinball arcade.

  3. Pinball FX2 Import Detection Failed

I have made a previous post on the Pinball FX forum but with no response, so I am going to paste what I have wrote there.

Hello there. I'm not sure if I am posting in the right area, but I'm going to be as detailed as possible here to try and inform you of an issue I have encountered.

Yesterday I felt like purchasing a new XBLA game, my friend recommended I try Pinball FX2 as it is fun to play and we could play online together, I said I will give it a go. I paid 800MSP for the game, which I was later informed should have been free, but I
most definitely pressed Pinball FX2 in the marketplace!

I went to my games on the Xbox to find Pinball FX there, instead of Pinball FX2. I knew Pinball FX had been de-listed in the past so I was confused by this, but had heard you can import the tables into Pinball FX2 if you had purchased the previous version,
so I followed the download Pinball FX2 button from the main menu of Pinball FX, and downloaded Pinball FX2 this time.

Upon going in to the menu of Pinball FX2 and attempting to load up one of the original tables, I was told that import detection of the original tables, had failed. This really bugs me as it feels like 800 of my microsoft points has been swallowed up on nothing.
Sure, I have the original product, but everyone else gets that product on the new version also, for free. It's not exactly my fault that the marketplace gave me the wrong download, so therefore I should still be able to play the tables in Pinball FX2, right?

Sorry if I've gone on a little too much here, it's just a bit of a nuisance to spend money on something then not get exactly what I was expecting. Can you please help me resolve the issue of importing the tables into Pinball FX2?

    Thanks.

Sorry, but all content on the Xbox 360 does not transfer over to the Xbox One. Any games or add-ons that you own on the 360 will have to be repurchased to play the content on the Xbox One.

Zero- That is not true in the case of this game. The publishers have made it so if you own the tables on the 360 version, you can use them for free on the One version.

  6. Apologies then, that is my mistake. I found the Majornelson.com article stating that.

The Pinball FX2 core pack "Biolab, Pasha, Rome, Secrets of the Deep " should transfer over if you owned it yes.

    forum.zenstudios.com/showthread.php

    (and it did for me)

What happens if you try and install it on the One? and are you using the same gamertag as the one that purchased it on the 360?

They can be transferred for free. If you start pinball on the One the tables you've already bought on the 360 are listed for 0$ in the game and so they can be downloaded for free. Just did that on the core pack and the mars table myself.

As far as I remember it was labeled 0$/9.99$ for me. And when it took me to the store it s priced 0$.

But you have to purchase it ingame. Not in the store.

Is your One maybe set to a different region than your 360? Because then the purchase on the 360 may not be recognized.

Should I get the core table pack for free on XB1 version of PINBALL FX2.

I have the same problem. Had certain tables on the 360 which show in my collection in grey and are all chargable apart from one, Paranomal. Very annoying to say the least. I'm certainly not willing to pay again for them. Should I get the core table pack for free on XB1 version of PINBALL FX2. :(

@Dakr: Did you follow the instructions on this page?

    PFX3

Scroll past the Star Wars video and there's a section called "How to import your Xbox 360 purchases" with the following advice:

    • Make sure you are signed in and using the account that purchased content on Xbox 360

    • Select the content you with to download, and click the “Buy / Import Table” option

    • If you are eligible for the free import, you will be asked to complete a transaction for $0.00

    • The content will automatically be placed in your game queue, download, and install

*** Please be patient with the system, it may take a few minutes for content to queue

*** If after 10 minutes the content does not queue, complete the following steps

    • Pinball FX2 > My Games & Apps > Select Pinball FX2 > Push the Menu Button > Select ‘Manage Game’ > Scroll to the far right and you will see a list of items under ‘Ready to Install.’ You can select all, and these will install to Pinball FX2
