    should i enable or disable UPnP on my xbox?


    my xbox‘s NAT type was moderate, if always see a message pop up saying how my connection to UPnP was unsuccessful, which i didn’t mind. i turned my NAT type to open now.. and i don’t see that message about the UPnP anymore is that bad? i’ve heard people saying that having UPnP turned on could make you have security breaches...

    So I should disable the ports I opened, disable dmz mode and enable upnp?

    I think upnp is enabled but I have always had Xbox in dmz mode as well.

    -port forwarding disabled, UPnP disabled

    -port forwarding enabled, UPnP disabled

    -port forwarding disabled, UPnP enabled

    -port forwarding enabled, UPnP enabled

    I see the same disconnect issues for all four combinations.
