    Should I be worried?


    My kid asked me an unusual question this afternoon: 'Daddy, were you playing Gang Beasts at 6AM today?'.

    He told me that he had switched on our family Xbox before school this morning and noticed on my activity feed it said I had been playing already. I had not.

    I've checked my activity myself and it does indeed say I played Gang Beasts at about 6 this morning. I've also checked the list of times my MS account has been accessed. There are a few 'attempted' entries - notably one or two from Wuhan, China -but nothing
    to arouse suspicion I've been hacked. No unauthorised purchases either.

    Should I be worried? Should I be changing my password and informing my bank? Or is this just a glitch that happens to us all now and then?

    It seems like you have taken the right steps so far to lock your account up so good job. I would recommend possibly using the authenticator app as well for further protection

    I would not worry to much, I recently checked mine and I also have a few unsuccessfully attempt.

    It's better to just change your password now and again.

    Also enabling 2 Factor Authentication will prevent people changing your password.

    You've taken all the correct steps to lock down the security of your account. As mentioned the authentication app is also a great way to keep a live track of any activity with your account. It sounds like your security worked in the first place if they
    failed to sign in, but you can never be too safe!
