Xbox is using Microsoft Account, if they steal your information, Microsoft might not notify right away. However, in case they try to use your account and attempt to login, normally Microsoft Account detect it as abnormal activity and notify you. In addition, Microsoft use number of mechanisms to data possible data leak and if it detects that is your case, it will notify you. However, it is different from case to case.

Unless fire started sprouting out of the vents or your console started shouting obscenities at you then no I wouldn't worry. No harm in giving the vents a quick once over in case anything's being blocked though.

If your credit card is attached to an active Live membership then no, you will not be able to remove any of your credit card details until the membership is over. The only way that will happen is if you contact them by phone and tell them to turn
off auto renewal. Or if you wish to skip the entire process completely and have the credit card removed right away you would still need to contact them via phone and tell them to cancel your Live subscription and remove your credit card. Then as long as you
have more than 30 days left on that subscription they will issue you a redeem token within 3-5 business days that you can use on whatever account.




From there I would recommend using pre-paid cards to top off your Live time if you don't want your credit card information left on your active account.




BTW, it tells everyone in the XBL Terms of Service that this will happen if you use a credit/debit card for your Live subscription. So if you read that agreement before you signed it you would already know this.

I'm concerned for TechLand as they've been pretty quiet regarding DL2. I feel like there should be way more information about the game by now.
