Should I accept, don’t want to brick console

You could try, but I don't believe it's the power brick that's the issue. When the console is turned on, the power brick should be green. When the console is turned off the power brick should display an orange color. If it was flashing orange, red, or no
light then there would be a problem.

Sorry this has happened to you I’m on alpha skip ahead and I’ve been fine. If resetting you console to factory setting has solved your problem this is not a full brick of the console. A full brick would require sending it to Microsoft for service which
they would do as it’s the insider program that bricked it.

You are warned when you sign up to the insider program that there will be bugs and things that maybe broken! The higher up the rings you go the more bugs you should expect and performing full factory resets is not out of the question. Microsoft recently
pushed an update that required a full reset before installing on the skip ahead ring!

If you want the most stable build don’t use the insider program just stay on publicly realeased builds! No one is forcing you to be an insider!

Sorry to hear it. If it's the older console with the external power brick then I'm afraid those are no longer accepted for repairs. I would suggest returning the console for a refund as it seems you've been sold a defective one

You should not use power converters of any kind with your console.The only way is to buy a power brick for the country you want to use the console in.

Why do they accept consoles if the beta update fixed the weird noise?

Also lots of users report strange noise from the power brick....
