shipping status says it could not be recieved at Microsoft Return Center

Hello you need to call the people who you shipped it through.

I have to agree the way they are handling these controller and other pack in items is pretty nuts.

These should be advance exchanges with paid return shipping they have had my day one controller at their service center since 12/11 and status hasn't changed at all.

no its not stolen i shipped it to the serivce center in laredo using the return label xbox sent me and have been updated by the service center. https://myservice.xbox.com

Sometimes the repair centers print out a label saying it's ready to ship a few days before they actually ship it. It may take a few days before you see a status update for that console.

If it still hasn't updated, you'll want to
contact us in your area to see if we have an update for you that you cannot see. As always, you can check up on the status with the
Online Service Center without calling support!

I recieved my despatch email on tuesday 13th saying order shipped. Checked my account with the online retailer and it also shows shipped.

So, if by chance this does turn up and i play it, will i get punished or banned in some way by epic or MS?

I'd consider it a bit harsh if that could/does happen considering it wouldnt be my direct fault i recieved the game early.

Then again, it could just be their system messing up and sending emails out/marking as shipped on pre orders.
