    I have an old Xbox one and I have the shiny part in the broken device. Is there an alternative to this part?

    problems with x1

    You have to put the shiny part of the disc face down when you insert it in.

    Halo 4: Disc is unreadable HELP!!!

    I'm having trouble too! although I think its my disc, it's got like a perfect scare around the shiny part forming a circle. Whats up with that?

    Slim 250HD DVD tray stuck open

    wall mart have to take it back as part of their policy , its the fastest solution to a working x box :) Just take it back to them and get a shiny new one

    As for the non shininess, what part of the disc are you talking about. It sounds like you are talking about the front part of the disc in the center.
