    Sharing Worlds? Copy Function


    Hi

    New to Minecraft, finally relented and got this for my son.

    We spent all day setting up a new world ( Creative Mode ) Built a great Castle with Moat drawbridge the works. He wanted it as a base in which to explore the world.

    Anyhow the next day he went to play could not find the save anywhere, eventually we found it under the Wife's profile, I'm guessing she got logged in automatically just before we started playing.

    Is there anyway we can copy paste / transfer the world to my sons profile so we can leave him to play, as my wifes profile is not age restricted like his.

    There is a copy function on the world but have no idea where you would paste it or what this is for.

    Any ideas

    Didn't buy Halo 5 but it's installing?

    So it's like I am sharing all games with the previous owner? This is an awesome function!

    All you need is two copies of the game and two Xbox Live accounts.

    There is a checkbox in the options menu when you create your world to flag it for online play and then you can set it to invite only. Then you and your son can share a world while you are away.

    Youtube is a great tool to use when you encounter situations like this as well as in the future. Many people have had similar issues or want to share any help they can give on basic functions visually like the issue you have :)

    The hypocricy is HILARIOUS

    People seem to be crying about losing functionality it never even had to begin with... (Buy 1 copy of game share it and have 10 people all playing it)

    You can still download games and play disc free.. You can still utilize the cloud... Whats the problem?

    Actually, I have this issues as well. I have both the digital and the hard copy of fortnite and when I put it in one of my xbox (I have 5 of them} it will not allow my son to play save the world even though the disc was in. I also game share and thought
    that my digital copy was interfering with it so I deleted my profile but with that I lost the ability to game share with my son due to the number of accidental switches. So I pay $120 in live subs to allow 4 of us to play. I even did a system reset and it
    still will not play save the world for him with the disc.
