Sharing with grandson

I'm getting the new Xbox one x soon and I'm planning to give my old Xbox one to my grandson for Christmas. Since we play minecraft and plants vs zombies 2 together when he visits, I want to share my gold membership with him. He has a gamertag on my old
Xbox with a child account. I read that if I make his Xbox with my gamer tag logged in as home, and my new Xbox one x home with his gamertag as home, it will allow us to share. He doesn't play with anyone else but me and his dad. I just want to make sure I
do it right before I set it up and wrapped it up (he's 8). Thank you.

i hope BioWare DON'T make the extended ending.

One last mention, At the very end. You see the grandfather and his grandson. I think the grandson represents the player and the grandfather represents bioware. With that in mind the grandson says "tell me another story about the shepard grandpa". The grandfather
responds with "Ok just one more"

Transfer of games between accounts is not possible but there is a solution you can share games with your grandson by home sharing

Hello JSD1686!

Please don't apologize, it is not a silly question at all.

Please make sure they're both using different profiles. If your grandson and his dad are using the same exact one, it won't work, because only one can be active at a time. To solve this issue, make a new account for your grandson. Also, don't forget to Home
Share the Xbox on his profile, meaning your grandson will have access to all digital games of his dad's. To game share, sign in to their profiles and go to: Settings > Personalization > My home Xbox > Make this my home Xbox (This will make sure that the Digital
Game Library is shared)

The only thing is, if they got any disc games, only one can play them at a time.

check that the Grandson who has the Live Gold subscription hasn't made a friend's Xbox his Home console to game share with them (or left his profile logged in after playing on a friend's Xbox and the friend has made the Home Xbox switch without your Grandson's
permission).

if the Home Xbox settings are as they should be for game sharing try restarting the router by turning off the power at the wall socket/power outlet for 5 minutes then switch it back on.

while it initialises give the Xbox a Power Cycle by holding the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds until it shuts down, turn the power off at the wall and unplug it for 5 minutes then connect it back up.

by this time the router should be all green lights (if it isn't wait until it is) turn on the Xbox and hopefully both Grandsons will be able to play all their games
