Sharing is caring 4 player split screen action

I've poked around the internet a lot trying to find a good answer for this. I'm hosting an event and we decided to try and have a video game tournament. My hope is to find a game that can support 4 player split screen and then LAN / system link (using a
crossover cable or router as no internet access will be available) to another console with 4 players to have 4v4.

I didn't think it would be this hard to find a game that could do this so I'm really looking for some help on this one. If you have any suggestions please let me know. We are considering knocking it down to 2v2 but would really like to stay at 4v4. I'm open
to any suggestions, just let me know if it's a 4v4 or 2v2 that you are suggesting.

This sold it for me...

The thread is talking about sharing/running the game simultaneously. Like split screen game play, except on separate consoles.

 

Lack of couch co-op

borderland is having 4 player split screen coop so it can be done new resident evil revelations is split screen as well

 

I'm not sure if you can system link your ONE's.

But for the 360 could you not do this with most of the HALO games?

 

The halos 1 thru 4 I know cause i do it myself...maybe some of the CODs?

Indeed, Split secreen is done... I wany My own screen not 1/4 of it.

With todays Tech it's accualy a better idea to stream each player seperate.

 

Call of Duty 2. We used to rock this in the dorm rooms.

Sure it's nice to play the majority of my games on a big screen by myself....but there was nothing like playing 4 player split screen with 6 guys. Bottom two give up their controller. But you have to have real life friends to do that : )
