Sharing & home console

Hi, what is the best way to share my eldest daughters games & subscription with her sister who will be getting a new console. This is so I do not have to Pay twice for the games & subscription.

Have your oldest daughter set the new console as her Home. That's what will allow her to share with the sister. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

If he is home-sharing with you in the console you are gaming on, you can definitely home-share in another console using your account. Please note that if you home-share in another console the feature will be removed from your brother in law's console. If
you are home-sharing with him as well, you won't be able to home share with your wife's console because you can only home share one console at a time with five switches a year. So you can either home share with your brother in law's console or your wife's
console.

You need to set whichever console that you wish to share to as the Home console. Since you set your X as your Home console, it is only that console that things will be shared to. If you wish to share to the S, then you need to set that console to Home instead.

The upstairs console would have to be set as the primary accounts Home in order to share there. You can only share games on the Home console. Since the primary account's Home is currently the basement console, the games are not being shared to the upstairs
console which requires that account to sign in.
