Sharing game pass not working, giving message that the owner must sign in?

I downloaded the game from game pass. It was working fine even after they no longer had it. Then one day i started getting the message that the owner kf the game must sign in. I am the owner. I did change up my mkcrosoft profile awhike back, with different
gamer pic etc but the dign in info is the same. All ither games doenloaded from game pass work fine still.

To set your expectations properly, not all games work with game pass sharing on PC because there are still games that requires the owner of the subscription to be signed in for a specific game to work with game pass.

Please make sure that ylu are signed in to your PC with the same Microsoft account that's part of your family's Game Pass group.

And then verify your family settings. To do this, go to Microsoft Family settings and confirm you are listed under your dad’s family group.

You're welcome! Have you tried to use the Game Pass to see if it will work? Just for us to know if it is successfully shared. If it is being shared, the features of it should be on your account now.

Meaning you should be able to download Xbox Game Pass games, play online, etc. If this has worked then the subscription benefits is already being shared. Only the owner of the subscription can see and manage where the subscription is being shared.

Hello, to share games you must be sharing your xbox console as home console. Everyone logged in on that console will share xbox live and any digital games download and some DLC when applable. Game pass ultimate can be shared also as long as the main account
owner who purchased it has the console set to XBox home then it can be shared. Play anywhere games are games that can be played on console, pc and phone if avail. Start one place playing and put up where you left off on the available electronics. Only thing
is PC and console are different when it comes to buying things. Pc game pass is not like XBox Game pass.

But once the owner install the game pass game... It is not shared in the other console. Other games yes however...
