Shared captures disappeared from my highlights on the Xbox app

Open the Upload app, go to My Captures, highlight the video thumbnail, and hit the menu button. Choose Delete.

Or open the Upload app, My Captures, select Manage from the left-hand tab, and select multiple thumbnails at once, and then choose Delete.

Backgrounds and wallpapers can be selected from your recent captures.

In order to capture a screenshot, during gameplay press the highlight Xbox button, then you will see the option press y for screenshot, once you've done this it will be uploaded to your console and Xbox live. Go to your recent captures by pressing the highlighted
Xbox button in the middle of your controller, right bumper click over 2 times to capture and share,go down to recent captures, select it by pressing a button, and here you will see your recent captures. Select one of them and you will see it as an option to
set as background.

Captures on the Xbox network are the ones that will be deleted after 90 days once January 2024 arrives.

You can upload the captures on the Xbox network by opening the clip > press A on the share button > press A once you highlight the OneDrive option.

Another way to upload the captures to OneDrive is highlight your capture > highlight “upload to OneDrive” > Press A.

I believe you can download native captures from Console that are uploaded to Xbox Live via the Xbox app on mobile.

Edit: Just checked, and if it's uploaded to Xbox Live you can go to the mobile Xbox App and then click "Captures" select the capture you want to download, click the "Share" button and it has an option to "Save" in there that will download it locally.

You can share the video trought the Xbox app, just open the capture tab and click on the desired capture.
