Shadows of war "press space to continue" on windows game pass.

I never leave my devices plugged in if I am not using them anyway so that shouldn't be the issue, I have since tried restarting with nothing else plugged in and just leaving the game open for a little bit to see if it was just detecting things slowly.

In all cases the issue is still persisting and I am unable to even reach the main menu still.

Again, the game is NOT freezing, nor is the process becoming unresponsive.

It is simply not registering the input from my connected keyboard.

It seems that the game might be automatically defaulting to another HID, instead of the keyboard/mouse. Try to disconnect your graphics tablet and any other device that isn't your keyboard and mouse. Then, check if the game works correctly.

Check on Device Manager if you might have a device acting as an input device. The game might be considering that to be the main input device, and ignoring your keyboard completely.

To open the Device Manager, open the Start Menu and type Device Manager. Press Enter. There, search for Input device (like controllers).

This post has absolutely nothing in common with my problem.

My game doesn't crash at all, it just doesn't register any inputs.
