Shadow Warrior 2 Game Pass for PC save file

Hello,

I just installed a new SSD on my computer and reinstalled windows 10 and installed the xbox app for game pass pc.

I had the save file for Shadow Warrior 2 backed up and downloaded the game.

When I restored the save file, it did not recognize it and only gives the option for a new game.

I have tried restoring the entire profiles folder and also just the folder named "1" which seems to have the progress and auto save but the game does not recognize it.

Is there anyway to restore the save?

I am using the newest version that is available on Game Pass. It was the save file from just one day before.

I have tried reaching out to the developer but no response.

Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. The possibility of the save not being recognized, is it is a save from a previous version of the game. So when you did the reinstall of windows and the game, it is a newer version. If the game will not recognize the
file, you may want to reach out to the developer.

I have exactly the same problem with my xbox pc beta, I have installed shadow warrior 2 included in my game pass then it started once, it didn't recognize the Microsoft xbox controller, the game crashed after a minute and since then it can't be installed
at all, starts installing and immediately tells me it's installed but I can't start it and it doesn't show up in the installed games.

Check if you can find the save at that location.

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Flying Wild Hog\Shadow Warrior 2\profiles\

If you can't find it in this location, I recommend contacting the game's developer to find out where it is and if it's possible to transfer the save to another platform.
