    Shadow of War: account doesn't match dev environment


    There's an issue with the game Middle Earth: Shadow of War on the PC Xbox (beta) app. The error says that the account doesn't match the dev environment. It's been had this issue since at least 8/6, and isn't listed as known issue on Xbox's page

    Same issue here , i tried a bunch of stuff but didn't work. I tried to log on another account, delete the cache data on %appdata%, not even with uninstalling the xbox beta app. I've seen a couple guys with this exact same error on ark a few weeks ago

    Same problem here, I saw the Ark and MW forums with similar issue.

    There's a few fixes there, but the one that worked for me was to sign out of xbox app, restart PC, sign in again.

    Worked the second time I did it for some reason.

    Today same issue again though, so a fix would be good.

    Most epic boss fight ever.

    Nothing I've played before or after has matched the sense of intensity and terror.

    Same issue on PC, for Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

    Brand new PC, been playing games successfully without sign in issues. Then all of a sudden today, open the game up and this error occurs. I do not have a dev environment enable in the settings.

    I can see that no devs or tech support has participated in this conversation which is pretty unacceptable.

    Also, to touch on something someone mentioned before, why aren't we able to play games offline if we've purchased them and have all of the config, dll, and exe's on my drive but we are unable to play them? So are we just renting them and paying full price?

    Again, this is a 3 day old ROG prebuilt pc with updated OS and BIOS, have been playing these games without issue.

    Pretty frustrating and adds fuel to the fire when Microsoft is silent.
