Shadow mute on minecraft server

Please check your suspension status by following these steps:

1. Visit enforcement.xbox.com.
   
2. Sign in with the account that has received a suspension using the link in the upper right of the home page.
   
3. If you have an active suspension or history of enforcement actions, click the box on the left to view more detailed information, including suspended features, start and end dates, and reasoning.
   

Note: Enforcement.xbox.com is the best source of information regarding your suspension. Xbox Support is unable to provide any further details.

If you have no active suspensions, I would recommend getting in touch with Mojang support to further investigate your status: Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net)

It actually takes a while to be "unshadow muted" on Minecraft. You have to be consistently nice for a long duration. You can reach out to Minecraft support for further assistance on this https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Where are you seeing this happen? Microsoft handles the Enforcement portion of Xbox Live, but that wouldn't affect specific titles, and Minecraft/Mojang does not perform these blanket actions on accounts (I believe). You would likely want to get in touch
with the server administrators for where you're seeing this "shadow mute", as the owner or Administrators would configure that setting per server/realm.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, Microsoft wouldn't be able to shadow mute your chat on the game server. Reason for this, is Mojang is in charge of the servers not Microsoft. We recommend trying to reinstall the game. As there may be a corrupt
file causing the issue.
