Sexual Harassment complaint

Hi, I would like to file a sexual harassment complaint and hopefully acquire information leading to the filing of a police report against the individual responsible.

I was not sure where to post this and hopefully it will be moderated to the proper authorities.

The user in question goes by the gamertag of (Mod Removed), the font in the picture we recieved implicating the user makes it hard to read at least for me and my significant other. So we are providing the same picture hoping to identify him. In the picture
I have removed my fiance's phone number for it was made publically available by this individual and now she is recieving inappropriate phone calls and messages from individuals neither she nor I have had any contact with at all.

The picture was provided by a friend who saw it while playing.

If possible we'd like to confirm or deny if the gamertag is owned by an individual of the name (Mod Removed) at which point we would file a police report for this is not the first time this individual have sexually harassed my fiance. But we have not had
any proof linking the individual to the account. Bottom line is we would like the result of any investigation to be evidence that could be provided in a police report against the individual.

Sexual harassment, and any harassment for that matter is already covered under the existing complaint options.

I'd like an explanation as to why there is no complaint choice for sexual harassment.

 

You would need to file a complaint via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate the user. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums and no one from Microsoft will read this.

 

That is odd since I was expressively told by a customer service representative to make a topic concerning the issue. Seeing as I don't own a console anymore, I've basically got the run around and can do *** all. Well than nicely done Microsoft...

 

Why have you not gone to the police already? You know the account that is causing the harassment and have proof of the phone number being posted.

The police will then be able to contact Microsoft for assistance and your phone company for the call history.

Don't wait. Get the police investigating now.

If you don't have a console then how is this person sexually harassing you?

Either way you cannot callout gamertags or post links to images containing gamertags on the forums.

Whoever told you to do this was wrong to do so.

 

There was a picture in the opening post originally Badger that showed that a phone number was present (edited so that it couldn't be read of course) and the invitation to send sexually explicit images.

So the person may not be directly harassing the OP's girlfriend but is directing others to do so.

Which is why I mentioned they should be contacting the police now. Microsoft won't give the information directly to the OP but they will help with a police request.

If I wasn't sent over live then it's nothing to do with Microsoft but you are right,it's up to the op to report it to the police & they can take it from there & contact Microsoft if it was sent over xbox live.

 

So really this has nothing to do with Xbox/Microsoft at all, as this person has obviously attained your fiancé's number by her giving it out or through an acquaintance of hers. Leading to this person randomly giving it out to others probably, possibly through
Xbox messages or some where else.

Therefore in this instance, you report his/her gamertag through the report system and if you or your fiancé is receiving abuse/harassment of some context, then you can contact the police as this seems a outside matter to be dealt with and not Xbox/Microsoft.
