    Several of my friends and my own lot of XBox Series X's, keeps randomly rebooting after the last system update on 9/6/2023. Is there any news if Microsoft is going to roll back this release or send out a patch to fix the issue?

    This issue happens in game, from the dashboard, watching YouTube, watching Netflix, everywhere.

    The system is in an air conditioned room and isn't overheating. I have also checked the board and everything surrounding it with a laser thermometer. I have tried all available tips and tricks, like removing and reinstalling games, resetting the profile to default, tried a new test profile, and even tried wiping the system to factory default and reinstalling everything from scratch. Also note that I wasn't able to install the first game before the system rebooted again.

    For clarification, in my mind, "rebooting" is defined as the console presenting a black screen, the (x) light on the front of the XBox turns off and then back on, then the Xbox logo is presented on the screen. I am then returned to the dashboard, where at times the system decides to reboot again randomly.

    I have several XBox Series X consoles from old to brand new. This is occuring on all of them.

    This all starts after the XBox auto updates to the latest release from Microsoft.

    Same. My friend has both and Xbox gamertag (on Series X) and a PC. Owns both versions. I'm on Series X and we can't play unless he's on Xbox. Can't add his Origin ID to my EA friends. Not sure what to do.

    What do you do when your xbox gets bricked by insider preview

    You have to wait

    Warranty proccess still has to go thru reddit

    And no they don't take insiders under normal warranty as you can't factory reset them without the original profile which is a security concern

    Quick and dirty way to do it

    If you can reboot into the os

    Remove the console from.insiders

    Factory reset the console

    Reboot

    Accept the new updste

    Then reenroll

    Keep in mind if you have skipahead you can never rejoin trust me I been trying

    Since November when I got my series x after unenrolling due to selling my xbox one x to trade towards my series x preorder

    Forza Horizon 4 won't connect to online session, but does connect to The Trial and Playground games

    I don't know if these server problems are related to the updates they do for the game.

    I remember not long after I installed the game on my Xbox series x last year it received an update a day or 2 later and I started getting a server error message on my Xbox series x yet on my Xbox one x the game played fine without an error message.

    Getting Disconnected from Xbox Live Randomly. This is on the newest Comcast Gateway.. I currently have a DMZ setup. I turned off my firewall completely to allow packets to go through. UpNp is turned on.

    Xbox Live keeps kicking people out. Disregard my last post. Disconnections are happening more frequently, Internet keeps rebooting, trouble getting into or switching game lobbies. live parties disconnecting. My other online friends are having the same issues.

    I have experienced this issue with the last 6-8 Alpha Skip Ahead OS previews.

    I've reported this issue using Report a Problem several times on my new Xbox Series X.

    It always occurs after restarting console from Instant on.

    A simple restart of the console from the Power menu or a Full shutdown resolves this issue for me.
