    I purchased a subscription to x box live gold this week and it worked the first day.

    The next day we got a error message saying the settings don't allow multiplayer games and to go to aka.ms/accountsettings to make settings multiplayer.

    I did this and it resolved the issue but the settings seem to revert back everyday so every time we go into play we get the error message and have to log on to the computer to re set the settings.

    The one that seems to keep changing is in Privacy- Others can- others can communicate with voice, text or invite. To play this seems to need to be set to everyone but it keeps reverting back to friends. How can I resolve this.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with privacy settings. If you are playing on a console, try changing the settings there on the console itself. You can also look over the guide for

    troubleshoot privacy settings    . We also recommend changing a different setting, save it and sign out completely. Then sign back in, and go change the one you changed and the one that keeps switching.

    I want to remove my Profile as Home from another XBox One

    The only way to change Home Xbox is to set another one as your Home.

    If you've changed password, that should stop them accessing your account.

    Also, go here:

    account.xbox.com/.../Settings

    And there, change your "Buy and download" setting to "Nothing" to make sure nothing can be purchased on the Xbox One. Change it back when you get a One yourself.
