  1. Setting up Xbox One X with Roku TV

Is there a way to set up the One X with a TCL Roku TV, such that the Roku functions of the TV will work with the console? Currently, I have a 5.1 surround bar hooked into the TV's HDMI ARC port.

    :)

  2. XBOX ONE X HDR look dark and blurry with "TCL 55P605" TV ?

The TCL website has some instructions on how to configure your TV to let the Xbox One X fully utilize 4K: TCL | America’s Fastest Growing TV Brand

Verify that your TV is capable of HDR by going to the Xbox One X display settings and open "4K TV details".

In the Xbox One X display settings, ensure you have "color depth" set to at least "30 bits per pixel (10-bit)" to enable HDR.

What's a good (and reasonably cheap) TV for my X?

    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-55...dynamic-range-roku-tv/5878705.p?skuId=5878705

I bought this TV for my bedroom and it is the best TV anywhere near its price and even up to $1000 more. I own a Sony 75x940c, which was $8000 new and the TCL set compares nicely to it. Its not as bright, but it has FALD backlighting, Dolby Vision HDR and the Roku OS, which is considered the best OS for TVs... which I agree. Much better than the Android OS on my Sony set.

It is the perfect companion set for the X and is rated one of the best sets for gaming.

    Hisense 4K issues

    I would check a few things -

    • Make sure there are no available firmware updates for your HiSense TV on their website
    • Make sure your input is set to HDMI 2.0 under input settings on the Roku TV interface Roku HMDI 2.0 Instructions
    • Make sure you're using a compliant HDMI 2.0 cable (The one that came with the One S should work fine)

    Here You Go Cord Cutters

    @Blue

I've got every TV in my house set-up with a different combination of devices so there is normally a solution but I'm confused to why you're using a splitter. How many HDMI ports does your TV have?

It appears your looking at doing a One, Roku (or Fire, Chrome, etc) and an antenna. Most TV's have at least 3 HDMI ports so I'd go HDMI 1 - One, HDMI 2 - Roku and then hook the antenna up to the TV and use the TV's tuner (which gives you cheaper options
    than the linked antenna).
