setting up Xbox One S All Digital

I need help setting up the hardware for my new Xbox One S . I understand the power, internet, and display connections. But what is the component that connects to HDMI IN ? Is that a PC running Windows 10? i thought the Xbox One ran the OS, had tons
of memory, and the high definition graphics card.

Nevermind this question I resolved the issue. The answer is the component is optional cable or settop box connection. I have neither so I skipped the step completely.

I have added a link below that better explains how the HDMI In is used.

If you are connecting to just a TV, you only use HDMI Out which goes to the TV.

However, the HDMI In allows you to connect your Xbox One to a home theatre setup.

The HDMI In is mainly where you connect your cable box if you want to watch TV through your Xbox. This would, with a few steps, allow you to control your cable box with your Xbox controller.

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,
