    The console needs a system update to start.

    My net is too slow and limited to download the updates. Can I download it to say, my phone, using the free wifi at my work, and then transfer the update to my Xbox?

    I managed to download the first of the two files I need. But when I follow the instructions on the link you shared, it goes to the startup troubleshooter, but doesn't allow me to choose offline system update, even though according to the link, it should
    do it automatically. Now what?

    In going to download the files tomorrow at work on my phone, then transfer them to my laptop then to a flash drive. Hopefully it'll work
