    Setting up HD60s with gen 3 A50s


    so i bought my HD60s so i can start recording my game play and party chat so i can later edit and upload to youtube. so now iv been at this for 8hrs plus and i cant find an actual way to get my party chat to be recorded while i record. see i have a astro
    a50 gen 3 headset with the bult in mix amp and base station so it doesnt have a 3.5mm jack on the head set. and every video iv watched is telling me to plug it in forehead and it will work but they dont understand that the gen 3 a50s have a micro usb port
    on the head set and the base station has to be plugged into the console for the headset to actually work and any other work around to get my party chat to be recorded via chat through my headset and tv leaves a big freaking echo that doesnt go away till i
    reset my xbox one x even after i changed the audio output back to headset only. and ontop of that xbox support doesnt actually doesnt have anything that related in their topic to help me out or i cant find it. so im here on the xbox forums hoping someone can
    help me bc im not spending 200 dollars on a damn headset to get this to work so if anyone actually has something for me please lmk. or if anyone can pick apart this video to better explain please lmk bc when it actually gets to setting up how the wireless

    Hi CaptainCDN,

    The best way I've found to share my party chat from my xbox to a stream or game recording, is having a secondary account logged in on my Xbox Companion App on my PC, and joining the party chat with that. just remember to mute its mic.
