    Set up of New XBOX One S not working. “Next” button doesn’t respond to remote


    Going through the setup of our new XBOX ONE S, we get to the part where it asks for a Microsoft account and it just doesn’t respond to the control when pressing the A to go NEXT! It only responds to the B to go back and then when we get to the same account
    place, it doesn’t respond to NEXT again. We have restarted several times. We are stuck!! Any ideas? Or how can I re-start the setup process (we already did the Update). Thanks

    Xbox Media Remote

    I have the Xbox Media Remote That will not work with the NEW Xbox One S. It worked for the first day or so then stopped working. The TV and A/V reciever are set up correctly and the remote was tested on my old Xbox one and works Flawlessly. Any ideas on
    a fix for this! Thanks in advance for any responses!

    Media Remote Not Working

    My xbox one media remote isn't working, can't find any reasons why. Thought it might be the remote so returned it and new one has the same problem. Around a month ago i picked it up and tried it and it worked perfectly and then next day it went back to not
    working at all. Remote lights up when pressing button so its not the batteries but no way to sync to console or troubleshoot so having trouble figuring out what is causing this. Anyone else had issues with the media remote or have any suggestions?

    Here is a step-by-step when going through the initial setup of the Xbox One S:

    Set up your Xbox One console

    If it still not working then go ahead and try
    How to reset your Xbox One console to factory     however, instead of using a USB like the link says, just go to the option to reset the console and remove everything. It will then go through the process of resetting the console.

    If this does not work then try to use another controller or check the network for any issues

    Remote play always asking to select enable on console

    Next time please read the description, it even notates this has been set up. Set up is not the issue I can play with remote I just have to hit enable everytime. So that doesn’t help if I’m not near the Xbox.

    Media Remote no longer works with YouTube and Netflix apps after 11/15 console update

    I have the same problem with Netflix and the media remote. The only buttons that still work are the Xbox home key, and the Play/Pause key. Media remote buttons work fine navigating the Xbox menu so I know it works fine but when using Netflix I cannot FF,
    rewind, skip, select, etc. This started happening after the November update. If I uninstall Netflix app and reinstall it the remote will work fine until I power off the console at night. The next day when I use power up and use Netflix the remote is back to
    not working again. I use energy-save power settings.
