Set up issue

There are several reasons why this could be happening. One possibility is that the system update has been damaged. If so, you will have to perform a system without connection.

Another possibility is that there is a problem with console hardware. If so, you will have to get in touch with Microsoft's support to get help.

If you have tried all these steps and you can not solve the problem, you can try the following steps:

Make a system without connection. To do this, you will need a USB unit with at least 8 GB of free space. Follow these steps:

Download the last system update from the Microsoft website.

Copy the update file in the USB unit.
Connect the USB unit to the Xbox Series X console.
Turn off the console.

Stay pressured the match and expulsion buttons for 10-15 seconds.

The console will begin in the update mode.

Select "Update from a storage device."
Follow the on -screen instructions to complete the update.

If you have performed a system without connection and you still cannot solve the problem, you can get in touch with the Microsoft support to get help.

Are you using a wired or wireless internet connection?

Try a wired connection (ethernet cable) to your network hardware and restart the console. It should connect and do the required OS update.

If wireless choose a factory refresh of the console. After the refresh is complete, input the console setup details again.

I’m very happy with mine too, however, when I use the sound bar for pass through and select arc I get no sound or picture and have to run it through the hdmi option. If I connect the Xbox to the tv hdmi 2 and then the sound bar to hdmi 3(arc) I get picture
with no sound despite all settings suggesting that it should work. If I use an in built app on the tv and watch it through arc it works perfectly. All mildly frustrating.

I run my Sony soundbar to the ARC HDMI on my Sony TV and couldn't be more happy with results.

Thanks for the reply ! No, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have my console set as his home Xbox. Should I have him do that ? Will that have any negative effects for him ? Like if he sets my console as his home one he won't lose any games
or live, even though I don't have them on my console ? I'm sorry if this is confusing, I just don't really understand how the whole home Xbox thing works and just want to make sure he wouldn't lose anything.
