Service outage, app and game access.

This is paste the point of ridiculous. People uninstalling their games, thinking it will fix the issue and not being able to reinstall again.

Outage for 5+ hours?

This is not the paid service one would expect from a company like microsoft.

And im aware of the link for the status page, so no need to reply with that useless nonsense that hasn’t been updated in hours.

I have a very small window to play and this has eaten into it considerably.

I realize that I signed an “agreement”, but if you’re going to require internet access to play a paid for game, then your service needs to be on point. Otherwise let me play offline and re-update when you figure out your problems.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums in regard to the recent Xbox Live service alert. In reference to the outages experienced with the
Xbox Live Server Status, all service and games are now active, with the exception of the TV, Music & Video service.

We recommend to power cycle the Xbox console and try again if you haven't done so already.

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console(Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable)

We will be locking this thread due to the service alert clearing up regarding anything directly affecting gaming or purchases. If you need further assistance, or if the issue is still persisting, please create a new thread.

There currently seems to be an outage affecting cloud gaming access as there are a lot of other recent threads reporting the same error. I’m also not able to access the cloud through Xbox.com/play or the cloud gaming app.

Please report it at https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status so that it can be looked into further.
Select 'Report' under 'Report a service outage', then select 'Cloud Gaming' > 'Launching Cloud Gaming'.

All online services have outages sometimes that is well known. From the Microsoft Service Agreement:

"We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the event of an outage, you may not be able
to retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content and Data that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services."
