Serious Input lag on my new Xbox one X

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > General > Network setting > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address: clear

Then, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps

You would be better of buying a 24" monitor if its purely for gaming.

This is the TV i use as i wanted a TV for my front room but also one for gaming

www.hdtvtest.co.uk/.../sony-kdl42w653-201308113237.htm It had at the time one of the lowest input lag seen on a TV. Most of the new Sony range have the lowest input lag now.

The lower the ms value on input lag the better the screen will be for gaming.

The X has significantly less input lag than it's S counterpart. You should be able to feel and tell.

Thanks for info , i just wondering . I switched from the OG XBOX ONE to XBOX ONE X .

A tested it since 3 Days. a use 1080p and 8Bit Color Depht Settings XBOX . a will also test RGB Color Later.

Call of Duty Adwance Warfare / Best Results and you can Feel. Wherry++ Responsive and this without Game mode! and Energy Save mode on TV.

Gears 5 . Wherry+ Responsive and Nice

it realy Depends alot what game , older Games or RPG has from Nature more input response Time .

Assasins Creed Black Runs realy Great on the ONE X . slightli mor Response time in Nature of the Game(30 FPS Locked)

Project Cars: Wherry Responsive+ also without Game Mode Enabled and belive me im realy Sensible .

the XBOX one X iz a Realy Beast , and all this in such Small Factor and iz Extream Quied.

Try to link the controller to a phone or PC, after that link it back to the console

If that doesn't solve the situation let me know if this happens with installed games or cloud games

You can also check the settings on the controller and check the response curve on it, sometimes that helps

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

i have a gaming monitore

I have another old xbox one controller and this one works with no problems.

The new one has input lags, so probably the controller is in some way broken...
