Serious FPS issues when using RTX in any game.

Hello. I am having major FPS issues with my RTX 3050ti. Every time I try to run a game with it, it starts lagging like crazy. Is there any way to fix this? Please help. FYI, I did have my GPU replaced due to my laptop not detecting it.

This is a huge game in tens of things it’s drawing.

As power said you have a low end card. Ray tracing is brutal on the high end. My machine goes from. 1000+ to 70fps in quake rtx with a 3070

It’s only Minecraft bedrock when I use the ray tracing feature on the RTX worlds by NVIDIA.

What games are you suffering performance loss? What resolution are you playing in?

The RTX 3050Ti is an entry level graphics card when it comes to actual raytracing performance. It also needs to use NVIDIA's DLSS technology to use RT in any meaningful way. Are you also utilising DLSS when running games that make use of Raytracing?

I get 1000+fps on Quake 2 RTX

Until I turn RTX on and get 70

If you are wanting better fps with the Series X after it launches, At a guess I would look to the games options menu or consoles options menu and disable ray tracing (RTX), I say this, as i have an RTX 2080 Ti in my PC, if i want to get more fps, i have
to disable ray tracing,

Ray tracing has a huge impact on performance.
