Thanks for confirming. As Smwutches explained and as indicated in the subscription info you read, you’d need either the Core or Ultimate subscription tier for online multiplayer as you’re on console.

Having a keyboard (or any other accessory or peripherals) connected to your console won’t affect your subscription. It won’t be recognised as a PC and automatically change your subscription accordingly if that’s what you mean. The specific model (Xbox One and Series X|S) also shouldn’t make any difference or prevent you from connecting with anyone as both of these play on the same Xbox Live servers.

So just to double check - if I get a Series X and I plug my hard drive into it, I won’t be able to play MWII? I will have to re purchase the game as the Series X version?
