Series X UI artifacting and flickering

We understand that you're experiencing issues with your Xbox Series X UI. This could be caused by a number of factors, including a faulty HDMI cable, a problem with the console's hardware, or an issue with the TV or monitor you're using. Good thing that you were able to raise this concern towards with our attention, we will surely do our best together to help you sort things out in order for you to successfully set up your new device.



Before we proceed, I will be asking you few questions to better understand the issue:

1. May we know where will be the issue occurs? Is it on the menu, inside the game or what activity you are doing for the issue to be going?
   
2. Can you provide us your TV or monitors make & model?
   
3. Have you tried connecting your device with other TV?
   

In the meantime, you can proceed performing the following steps: (kindly skip those you have taken)

• Make sure to use the Xbox Series X's HDMI cable.
  
• Check your TV or monitor: Make sure that your TV or monitor is set to the correct input and that it supports 4K resolution and HDR. Try connecting your Xbox Series X to a different TV or monitor to see if the issue persists.
  
• Check for updates: Make sure that your Xbox Series X is running the latest software updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update.
  
  
  

If the issue persists after all the steps, please let us know and provide us a screen recording showing the issue we have.

Xbox One UI is continuously going through enhancements and I believe it would be a similar UI for the series X with no major changes.

Probably yes, because so far we saw that the UI from the series X is the same than the Xbox One, S and X. So yes, you should be able to play with friends on Xbox Series X.

Xbox doesn't update there UI or consoles beey often so I think due to the series x coming out this year they're experimenting with a new UI to go with their new console.
