    My series x won't detect the storage expansion card. Now i have tried the following reset restart and reinsert the ssd still won't show up. I wonder if my Xbox or the expansion card is defected can someone please tell me if i missed a step I can't be the only one who's had this problem.

    Hi,

    Both Series X/S games and Xbox One games that been optimised (I'm British) for Series X/S must be installed on either the internal storage or the expansion card. They can not be run from a USB connected storage device. My optimised Series X/S Xbox One games
    were moved to my Expansion card during their update.

    You can use an external storage device for backwards compatible content and to store Series X games, but the Series X games will only run off the internal drive or the expansion card.

    Western Digital do a Series X|S storage card as well now. Called the the WD Black C50 expansion card.
