Series X still shutting off playing 2k21 online after latest update.

I have the same issue, i find it incredibly difficult to believe its a hardware problem though. As my series x runs every other X/S optimised game - from the new fifa to MS flight sim absolutely fine, hasn't shut off once, and if it was hardware, then why does it only occur in certain aspects of the game - as others and myself have experienced- it happens in brickleys gym or online - most notably for me online 5v5 - be it rec or myteam. Thankfully i am content with just playing career and park on next gen as i do have last gen as well. But still- this has been happening since 2k21.

A lot of people playing on the Series S and X are having issues with the game frequently crashing to dashboard and, sometimes, even causing the console to switch itself off. The same happened with the next gen version of 2k21

My xbox series x is crashing when playing Anny game is started op it freezes after 2 minutes and shuts down can you tell when there will be a fix update for this best regards theis

Anyway, after latest update my Xbox does not shut off at the grotto wind tunnel anymore.

Fixed? I don't know, but have successfully played for a while and no shut off.

If you turn off the background download option, the Xbox turns off instantly. Only with backgrond downloads on, the console will sync your Gamertag, or finish any downloads still queued, and will then shut down completely. So if it bothers you, simply turn
off downloads in the background.

Despite (not) using Cloud storage, your Gamertag is now saved differently online, so you can recover it to multiple consoles. I guess that's the reason why the console is now up/downloading stuff after shutdown after the latest update.
