    Series X signal loss on game/app launch


    This issue just randomly started happening in the last few weeks.

    When i turn on the xbox it boots up fine, however when i launch any app or game in 9/10 instances i will get the game launcher screen (not sure of name but usually a walllaper type image before the game boots) and then it will cut to black and then cut out and the no signal screen will appear on my TV.

    This also happens when closing out of apps and games.

    The only fix so far is to either turn the tv on and off, or remove and re-insert the hdmi cable. I have tried power cycling the xbox and changing hdmi ports on the tv already to no avail.

    I have an LG tv and it is Up to date as is the xbox i have changed all the display options and nothing has helped as yet.

    Hi,

    The Series X supports 1080P resolution in the settings same as Xbox One and One X. Games on Series X will still render in 4K, but will downscale to whatever display you have. There won't be any loss in quality at all.
