    Series X shut off with F1 23 and Fanatec


    After playing F1 23 on Series X with Fanatec CSL DD and McLaren V3 wheel, the Series X put a green screen for a couple of seconds, a “buzz” sound and shut off completely.

    The only way to start it again is to power on again manually through the physical button, since I cannot start up it with controller.

    This happens only with f1 23 and only with the wheel attached, after some minutes and especially with multiplayer / online.

    I’ve tried cache reset, soft reset, reinstalling f1 23, clear game memory, changing usb port, connect Xbox directly to the outlet, changing hdmi. No luck.

    Anyone can help me? This seems very very strange to me, for sure it seems a bug of the game but I cannot find anything online.

    I am intrigued by this as well, for now, keep playing and observing.

    If the issue comes back, contact the warranty.

    For sure I’ll do it since I cannot find a reason for that. Even if it is strange that this happens only for this title.

    Following your previous message about something strange between wheel input and game, I’ve tried to reboot Xbox, f1 23 and copy the original profile assigned automatically to the wheel changing some buttons casually.

    I’ve been able to play 2.30 hours without crashing. Never happened before.

    Honestly don’t know what to think.

    Hi Rodrigo, yes it is detachable but the port on wheel side is not common.

    Anyway, I’ve used it for hours with different games (acc, dirt rally and even f1 22) and never had a problem, so I would exclude this.

    Ok now it's going crazier... I just tried an hard reset, reinstalled f1 23, boot it and crashed after some minutes, no gameplay on it, only controller connected.

    Should I sent my series x back to MS as it might be faulty? It is just one month old.
