    Series X/S more third party support on expansion cards


    Currently only Seagate is offering and the price are not longer on parity with other vendors ssd with the same performance. When we can expect other vendors to be supported? There are already m2 to compact flash adapters in the market but only specific m2 drives are supported. Ps5 owners have a choice, we don’t.

    Are you using a Series S/X?

    Series S/X optimized games can only run from the internal SSD or an expansion card made specifically for the Series S/X.

    Hi,

    Both Series X/S games and Xbox One games that been optimised (I'm British) for Series X/S must be installed on either the internal storage or the expansion card. They can not be run from a USB connected storage device. My optimised Series X/S Xbox One games
    were moved to my Expansion card during their update.

    If he has a Series S/X and is trying to play a Series S/X optimized game, it will only run on the internal drive or on an expansion card made for the Series S/X. It won't run on a regular external hard drive or SSD.
