Series X Power light won't turn off

    This
    is my Series X when it is turned off. Regardless of whether it is left in Instant On or Power Saving mode, the light refuses to switch off. Problem started a couple of weeks ago but as I can still play games it wasn't much of an issue. When I turn the console
    off it does actually Power off as the fan stops and it no longer outputs a video signal.

    To try and rectify I have tried the following:

    Offline update

    Factory reset

    Used different plug socket

    Only thing I can think of i haven't tried is a new power cable.

    Anyone else had this? Reluctant to send this off for repair given lockdown

    Hi njal blue ,id like to try a factory reset but it wont power on the power wire lights up orange till i plug in the xbox the the light turns white,then turns off x box never turns on. Thank you for your help.

    The One X or Series X? Either way, there's not a green light. The only light on the console is the power button which should be white.

    Xbox completely crashed. Don't know what to do.

    I've noticed my X1 won't go into "instant on" mode after playing minecraft, after playing I turn the console off and it turn's fully off (orange light on the power brick). It also wont turn back on with the controller.
