Series x not opening anything upon restart

series x will not do anything upon restart, half the time all my connected devices will refuse to connect till i do a power cycle or after 2-3 restarts, and the other half of the time NOTHING will open. for example whenever i try to open a series enhanced game nothing will happen, no error code or "took too long to start" or anything, nothing happens. but if i try to open a old gen game it gives the normal took too long to start error. i also tried to clear mac address but "network troubleshooter" took too long to start. i literally couldnt open my network settings, causing me to do another power cycle. issue will not go away after several attempts

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your console.

• Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console? if you do, please give this a try:

- Turn your console off.

- Unplug all external storage devices.

- Turn your console back on.

In some cases, a corrupted/malfunctioning external storage unit can cause this kind of problem.

• If that doesn't work, I'd suggest booting your console to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter and doing a soft factory reset:

Before moving forward with the reset, please make sure your external storage units are unplugged.

- Turn your console off and unplug it for 30 seconds.

- Plug your console back into the outlet.

- While the console is off, press and hold the BIND and EJECT buttons.

- Without letting go of them, press the power button once (do not hold).

- Continue holding BIND and EJECT for 15 seconds.

Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) to complete the setup process.

* Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

I have the Xbox Series X and the things I’ve tried to fix the problem are

• Changing my NAT Type from Moderate to Open

• Disconnecting and reconnecting my Battlenet ID from my Xbox account

• Port forwarding ports from Overwatch 2 directly to my router

• Restarting my Xbox Series X

• Deleting and reinstalling Overwatch 2

• Restarting my router

None of these things have worked whatsoever

Have you been able to try them in another Xbox console, or just yours? If they work fine in another console, we can assume there is an issue with your specific console. If they still don't work, then there may be an issue with your discs, or maybe the way
they were printed.

Also, do you have any DVDs that work in your console, or do they all have this same issue? Let me know, thanks!

Hey! I've tried it with about 8-10 DVD's, some old, some right out of the package. They work on other DVD players so I know it's solely the X-Box.
