Series X making internet go out?

I'm planning on running my 360 and XB1 games from an external drive, but because my internet isn't the fastest I wanted to start downloading the Series X upgrades now, ready to transfer to the Series X's internal storage so they'd be ready to play sooner.
I'll make do with the non-Series X games until they've been installed then.

I have the exact same problem on brand new series X extremely annoying and dissapointing after spending nearly 700 on a console to find out that my Xbox one s had a better functioning internet system than the series X.

Make sure you have the latest system update for your Xbox Series X. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > Updates & downloads.

Check your notification settings. Go to Settings > Preferences > Notifications, and make sure the notifications for parties and games are turned on.

Check your privacy settings. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety, and make sure that you have allowed communication with other players.

Check your network connection. Make sure that your Xbox Series X is connected to the internet and that your network connection is stable. You can also try resetting your router and modem.

Try signing out and signing back in to your Xbox Live account. Go to Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey, and select Sign out.

Try clearing the cache on your Xbox Series X. To do this, press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds. Wait a few seconds, then turn the console back on.

My series X is in the basement and is connect via wireless to the internet. I do not use the Xbox one and it isn’t even plugged in. What is confusing me is that before I got the series X I never had this issue. It only happened once I got the series x. That is what’s making this frustrating because it is the newer console but having this issue. Could it possibly be something with the system itself?

We understand that you are experiencing issues with the installation of the Collection 1-4 DLCs for Modern Warfare 3 on your Xbox Series X.



To resolve this issue, I recommend that you try the following steps:



1. Clear the cache on your Xbox Series X. To do this, press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds. Once the console has turned off, unplug the power cable from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds. Then, plug the power cable back in and turn on the console.



2. Check your internet connection. Make sure that your Xbox Series X is connected to the internet and that your internet connection is stable. You can check your internet connection by going to Settings > Network > Network settings on your Xbox Series X.



3. Delete and reinstall the DLCs. To do this, go to My games & apps on your Xbox Series X, select Modern Warfare 3, and then select Manage game & add-ons. From there, you can select the DLCs that are causing the issue and choose to uninstall them. Once they have been uninstalled, you can then reinstall them.



4. Check for updates. Make sure that your Xbox Series X and Modern Warfare 3 are both up to date with the latest updates. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > Updates on your Xbox Series X, and by going to the game's main menu and checking for updates.
