Series x keeps crashing and strange lines are appearing in every game

It seems like we have done most of the troubleshooting steps for the issue.

As what we have recommend on our last response, you may now contact live support or have your device checked up.

Sign in to the Device services site with your Microsoft account credentials.

Sign in Select the device that you want repaired.

Follow the onscreen steps to complete your service order request.

To contact live support, Contact us | Xbox Support.

Scroll down and look to the bottom left side if you can see that the page corresponds to the country/region in which you are currently located.





Otherwise, select the country/region you are showing and select the correct one from the lists.

Be sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.

Select the "Contact Us" button

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

The next window will provide support articles based on your request, and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "View contact options" button.

In the final window, you will be presented with several options. We suggest selecting the "Online Chat" or "Request a call" options to talk to someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

If you are unable to connect to support, use the Virtual Agent and type this exact phrase, "Talk to an agent."

Troubleshooting that you can try in case you were unable to contact the team. Update your device and browser, use your browser's InPrivate window , or try a different device or browser, or connect to a different network.

i tried changing the hdmi port but im still getting crashing and ive pointed a cooling fan to the intake of my xbox, is there nothing else i can do?

have tried all of these steps plus an additional cleaning to make sure its not overheating and the issues still here and getting worse

You can try using a different HDMI cable or port to see if it resolves the issue. Another possible cause is overheating. You mentioned that you have cleaned out the heat sync but it’s still not stopping. You can try using a cooling pad or fan to help cool down your Xbox.

It seems like that you are having problem with your Xbox Series X console. As per description, it crashes and give you a strange line every time you are playing a game. You performed some of the basic troubleshooting steps but still the problem persists.

1. When did the problem start?
   
2. Was this affecting to all games of for just a specific only?
   
3. Is you console updated to the latest version?

So far, from the details you provided, you can try the following steps and let us know the result. You can just skip those you have done already.

1. Go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games. This will restart your console but go ahead.
   
2. Go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear. This will also...
   
3. If that still doesn't work, try performing an offline system update following the steps here.
   

You can also perform an offline system update on your Xbox Series X by downloading the update file to a USB flash drive and then installing that file directly onto your console. To use the Offline System Update, you’ll need:

1. A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port.
   
2. A USB flash drive with at least 6 GB of free space.

1. Plug the USB flash drive into your PC.
   
2. Download the Offline System Update file from the Xbox website1.
   
3. Save the file to your USB flash drive.

6. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that it’s completely turned off.
   
7. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
   
8. Press and release the Xbox button but hold the Pair + Eject button for 15 to 20 seconds.
   
9. Release the button after two beeps and you will be on the Troubleshooter screen.
   
10. Select Offline System Update.
    
11. Your Xbox Series X will detect the update file and install it.
