    Series X is forcing LG CX to record?


    I just started getting this message on my LG CX TV.

    "Content is not available while recording. Do you want to stop recording and play the content?"

    Replying `Yes` or `No` does not help because it keeps popping up. I initially thought this is a TV issue but I'm more and more convinced that this is completely on the Series X side.

    I last played my Series X about 8 hours ago which was completely fine so my guess is an update is causing this.

    - I left that Series X alone for a while and tried booting again but none of the controllers can wake it up, doesn't respond to voice commands or can remotely control it via the Xbox app.
    - I followed the instructions for "Reset your internal power supply" and the Series X is back to normal but still keep getting the message on the TV display. I could use the controller to boot up or even shut down the Series X (by guessing the UI) so it's just the display output that is having problems.

    Thx for reply, i will try a few things, i have since read, to turn on HGIG on my LG CX TV, then do the hdr calibration on the xbox series x.

    Xbox Series X audio stutter

    Similar issue for me. Have xbox series x connected to lg cx and cx connected via e-arc to tsr-700 receiver and 5.1.2 system. Even booting up the console the audio cuts in and out/ stutters! Tried watching some uhd blu rays and same issue. It comes and

    What do you play on?

    Right now I’m on a 42 inch Samsung QLED 4K HDR set, but before the Series X is out I’m planning on upgrading to the LG C9 or CX in 65 inch. I need that HDMI 2.1 120hz OLED goodness in my life.

    Looking into a bit more,

    when the series x is connected directly to my LG CX, Via the secret DVI/HDMI status menu DD bitstream reports as AC3 9ch 48000Hz, Stereo uncompressed reports as PCM 2Ch 48000Hz, Atmos reports as MAT 8Ch 192000Hz so it all looks ok here, cant test DTS as the 2020 CX doesnt support DTS.

    OLED77CXPUA, XBOX ONE X, and Dolby Vision

    I figured it out just in case if anyone has this issue with any LG CX and maybe GX model. If your Xbox is saying Dolby Vision is not supported on your CX. Go into the settings and Turn off AMD Freesync in the TV settings. This setting comes turned
    on by default and make the XBOX say your TV does not support Dolby Vision.
    I came here looking for an answer to this, but it can’t be to turn off AMD Freesync. Thats a headline feature of using the CX with a XBox One S or X (or the series X coming out).
