Series x headset not holding charge

I understand you about the xbox license.

I rather not want to have a wireless headset because I dont like charging and the battery life will decrease over time. So that leave me with two options:
1. Wired, 3.5mm into the Xbox series x controller
2. Wired, usb, into the Xbox series X

I checked the microsoft store and there are only 2 compatible series X headsets. Both wireles.

Do you know any wired Xbox series X headset? That is compatible with the series x? I prefer USB but have to go 3.5mm otherwise.

Yes, this is the official Microsoft Play & Charge battery. It’s not under warranty anymore, but I’m trying to figure out if the problem is my controller, or the Play & Charge battery.

I don’t want to buy a new Play & Charge battery + cable if the problem is the controller, because the problem would just continue.

Is the battery official from Microsoft? If so, it has a 90-day guarantee after purchase, within this period it is possible to request a replacement, after this period, unfortunately Microsoft no longer receives the product.

1. Have you tried using a different charging cable or power source to charge the headset? Sometimes, the issue could be with the charging cable or the power source.



2. Have you tried resetting the headset to its factory settings? To do this, press and hold the power button and the mute button on the headset for 10 seconds until the LED light on the power button flashes.

3. Can you confirm if you have tried using a different charging cable or power source to charge the headset? And have you tried resetting the headset to its factory settings?

unfortunately that excuse does not hold up now the series consoles are old and the hardware does not hold value, you can easily build a pc close to the cost of a series x now with the same power or better.

@OP PSN still charges and so does Nintendo, if you want free online and cheaper games and more choice, PC is the way.
